Skipalong

Today was a sunshiney beautiful day--sandwiched between rainy wet ones. Because alas, as far as the forecast is forecasted, there is rain starting tomorrow :( But I had no work or school today, so I made the best of it.

I slept in until seven thirty, ate a relaxed breakfast, (in which I made the most pristine egg in a basket in my life. I was so proud, I texted Robert a photo) went to the computer lab to finish up an assignment, met an old friend, went thrifting, then was a photographer at my University's Korea night.

I don't know what it is about this skirt--but the last time I wore it was in a pattern mixing outfit too. Crazy, since that's not something I normally like to do. But the dress on it's own seemed a little short and too light, considering I was wearing darker tights.

Such a nice day. I will possibly post up pictures from Korea night later. Because it was quite fun and lively. Here is the lovely Mindy (my friend) who I hung out with today and who also was awesome enough to take my pictures. I'm trying to get over feeling awkward in front of the camera! It's starting to be better.

It was a good day :)

  1. It sounds like you had a lovely relaxing day. Eggs in a basket...delicious!
I think you did a great job with the pattern mixing here. The color palette is very similar so the skirt and shirt look lovely together.

  2. I used to be afraid of taking photos in front of other people too but since now I live in a very touristic city I like to pretend that I'm a tourist so I don't get the idea that everyone around me is judging me, ahah. It really works. I also like to think about my favorite fashion bloggers (specialy Carrie from WishWishWish) and to imagine them taking photos without problems. Then I'm all like "If they can I'm sure I can do that too". Maybe it's a bit stupid but now I'm not so afraid of people! :D
Anyway, I loved that pattern mixing! That skirt is really adorable! :)
